Tree
It would have been rad had my grandparents and great grandparents and their grandparents all blogged. To haved looked back and read their journey and their path. All the good, bad, ugly, and magnificent of their life.
I think people are deeper and more interesting than they, as individuals, think they are. Putting words, thoughts, and emotions on paper is as old and as natural as painting on a cave wall.
More people should slag out some kind of personal journal. You just never know when a future dz might enter your family tree. And they're going to be hungry for your tales.
Change
Switching the game up.
A new chalk board design which signifies, well, nothing really. Plus chalk is rad. Beats pencil.
Thinking about dropping titles completely from my posts, at least for awhile. I recognize a lot of posts on the horizon that perhaps don't warrant the contrived. Short and simple.
About it around here. Got some tweaks to bang and I welcome all feedback.
Western
I have had yearnings to travel to some forsaken wild west ghost town to photograph the crap out of it. Just to be alone in such a place and spend a few days shooting has risen up the ranks of my subconcious. Where these ideas come from, I have no clue. For better or worse I have never had an issue coming up with "things". My soul is a charming odd thing.
Oaxaca
Always been a big fan of Rick Bayless. Definitely have to make my way to Chicago for a stop at the Frontera Grill before I die. A must.
Such
Such is the way of the world, you can never know. Just where to put all your faith, and how will it grow
Taxed
This mobile Word Press app, though legit, is saving my posts into a "Local Drafts" folder on my phone. Apparently some corner that is unseen and entirely unaccessible. Where have all my little posts gone?
Also, taxes done. Yet again Uncle Sam owes me money. Can't say I am a fan of the fed tax process. It could hardly be more full of shit. People have to pay in order to pay their taxes. I think that says it all.
Walk Away
Woah. What a time suck Twitter became. Who saw that coming? 19,000+ tweets. Unreal.
So I've taken a vacation from the bird. And time to put my heart back here. I think it's only fair. Prepare yourself for the mundane and the ridiculous. But you already knew that.
Also, radicchio is rad. But you already knew that too.
No
In some twisted sense, I think the common cold is someone or somethings way of telling me to slow down.
Man. Was I going that fast?
Sick twice now in three weeks, I have decided to down shift to 5th. And rest.
Thx
Yeah. So I love wine. And I love wind. And I love the smell of fresh baked bread, and travelling abroad with no plans. And I love a new pair of jeans. Oh and I love football. And I love learning. And I love cooking. And I love pears. Oh, and I love scarfs, no really I do.
I love a lot. And I'm thankful for a crap ton.
But at the end of the day, it's all about Health and People. All that I'm thankful for, year round, and all that matters.
Hi I’m a Mac. It doesn’t matter
My first week with a mac since third grade, Miss Simpkins class, and I'm impressed. With little in the way of complaints I have to say Apple is killing it for me. I dig it.
But I got to thinking. Does it matter? The platform and the method to content creation and publication is so irrelevant these days. Mac, Pc, the dirty penguin, a mobile device - who cares? It's just a platform. It's all about what you do with it. What you say. How you say it. Pick what works for you and kill it.
Say something beautiful. No one cares about your mac or pc.
